May want to check into a colon cleanse and or a parasite cleanse.

Actually this time of the year I think is mold season so you may be able to find something for that.

have lived with this my whole life and 5 years ago i finally figured it out!take one claritin (or generic loratadine) every morning and you will have no more problems.i pay 28 bucks or so at sams for the generic (300 capsules) i used to only have to take from middle february till mid june, but the last year i have had to continue basically all year round.but the 30 bucks per year to not deal with that crap is worth every penny and more!

try it you won't be sorry,i tried the prescrption stuff, the nasal sprays and everything.this is the real deal

Google quercetin - it's a natural allergy fighter, my ex uses it regularly with good success.

it says you may take up to 10mg daily.never asked a dr.as i have not been to dr.in probably 15 years or so.i guess it is too late to ask now.never thought it would be a problem as long as i did not take more than directed daily.

i just learned to live with my problem and suffered through many miserable springs and falls with continuous sinus infections and always felt like i had a cold.

when claritin was cleared for use without a prescription i started taking one daily(first like i said from late feb till june) then again in fall(late sept. till first frost) however last year the weather around here never got real cold and ended up having to take it longer.the pollen counts here in the south are the highest in the nation and without rain and cold weather the pollen stays around.

i cannot even remember the last time i had a cold...i am pretty sure it has been over 5 years.if you find out something different please let me know if i have been killing myself

Oh Allergies...i have them so bad. i have tried every med out there and they either sometimes work or not at all. i have a script for allergra now, i have some zyrtec i have been trying (since it worked well last year but is not good to me this yr) i have a cabinet full of claritan, as well as tylenol sinus and congestion, sudafed...oh its crazy. my eyes water, scratch, i sneeze, have a runny nose, severe itching on the top of my mouth, and congestion. it starts about aug 15th every yr and lasts til november. i cant wait til winter!!!!! i developed these allergies about 10 yrs ago, but this yr is the worst ever. i am going to see an allergist in 2 weeks and see about allergy shots. i have been told by others with the same problem and time of year that they have ragweed.

all these meds claritan, zyrtek, allerga dont have sudafed in them unless they are with a "d " at the end...clariten-d (or clarinex) allergra-d, zyrtek-d. but its hard to get insurance to approve them, so i just add sudafed to it during the day. sigh, what a pain. GL to you and ill let you know how the allergy shots work.

Just because claritan is the end-all-be-all for some does not mean it will work for you. try it, and dont be afraid to try the generic, same active indredient.

flonase is awesome. take it for week and your problems will be solved. it is a type of steroid, so make sure the rx doesnt have a" wellness program" in effect, or you may get suspended

I was told by a friend that adding a few drops of eucalyptus oil to washing machine when washing pillow cases and linen kills dust mites.

Breathing the oil also helps sinus congestion.

I bought several bottles at an Asian grocery store for less than a couple bucks per 1oz bottle.

Get one of the RX's out there like Flonase or Cingular.
It is funny seeing these posts back to back because one wants to treat the symptoms while the other one looks to treat the source of the problem.

I just started my allergy shots last week. it is a commitment for sure. you need to take them once a week for 6 mos, then it decreases, but by what im not sure yet, maybe 1 a month for another 6 mos or so...they said it can take a few yrs til u have all the immunity u need to then stop. i am lucky and work at a surgery center and can take my shots there...this is allowed cause this place has all the equipment i need in case i have an anaphalctic reaction. so since i can do it at work i can take the shots 2x/week and get done sooner...the first phase is 3 mos.i am hoping to have a super strong level built up by august 15th, which is when they will start up again. the shots are not bad, very small needles, very small amts of meds going in. i hate shots but it itsnt bad. i just have to go in every few weeks to get the next highest stage of drug serum. beats paying a copay weekly for the next few yrs. ill let you know how i do!!
